  22. Sirius Announces Financial Management Software for NEXTSTEP

  24. San Francisco, CA, April 29, 1993 - Sirius Solutions introduced today CheckSum
  25. a financial management program. CheckSum is a NEXTSTEP (Intel Proicessor &
  26. NeXT) program for the single  user or small business owner who has basic
  27. accounting needs.  CheckSum tracks expenses, income, property and cash, and
  28. provides Income Statements and Balance Sheets. CheckSum balances your
  29. checkbook and prints checks.

  31. CheckSum provides the user with a system for managing all their various
  32. accounts (such as cash, checking, savings, credit card, property, equipment,
  33. etc.) and the ability to consolidate them into a complete financial picture,
  34. either as a Balance Sheet or a period sensitive Income Statement. Furthermore
  35. CheckSum provides the ability to create multiple layers of categories through
  36. which one can analyze expenditures for tax or budgeting purposes.

  38. CheckSum provides many time saving features, such as automatic transfers
  39. between accounts, fast-key category input, memorized transaction for
  40. reoccurring entries and quick check printing, CheckSum's input screen is as
  41. easy to use as a checking account register, but provides the user with the
